This infographic was recently published on the MarketingProfs blog. It does a pretty good job of summing up what content marketing is, how it’s used, how it should be used and why it is effective (in relation to the customer).
Before you go on and take a look through it, I have to to warn you (and insert a shameless plug )…
Just jumping onto the content marketing bandwagon might get you there. But jumping onto bandwagons is dangerous because while content marketing is definitely effective, and you should pursue it, most marketers are missing a main ingredient in the mix.
If you want to get started on the right foot, or correct course, check out my Strategic Content Launch Pad. It is a veritable strategy guide to help you use content to drive online business results (I guarantee you’ll love it).
OK, plug over. Now enjoy the infographic, and don’t forget to check out the questions at the bottom of the post!
Do you use content marketing to drive business results? Have you ever obtained a customer because of your content marketing efforts? Do you feel like you’re jumping on the bandwagon? Is it blindly, or do you have a strategy?
I really enjoyed this as a visual representation – makes a good sales pitch.
Thanks Charles. I thought it was a good visual as well. Although I wouldn’t recommend blindly jumping on any bandwagons
.
bwahaha – I meant for my clients to get them to jump on my bandwagon
Ha! Good response Charles.

Loved the Info graphic! Thanks for sharing it, Eugene!
I don’t do any business with my blog, right now. But, I do plan to do it in the future.
Right now, I am more focused on creating content, marketing it, building traffic/community and doing it all over again

Do you eventually plan on making a business out of it though? I found that with my old blog I was doing exactly that…creating content and trying to promote that…but it never got me anywhere business wise.
This time around I started out with a business mindset and it has made a huge difference.
